YourPottery — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-13

01Summary

YourPottery does not collect any personal data. The app runs fully offline: everything you make and every setting you choose stays on your headset. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers to talk to.

02What data we collect

None. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information — no name, no email, no device identifiers, no usage statistics.

03Where your data is stored

The pieces you create and your in-app settings are saved to local storage on your Meta Quest device only. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud or shared with us or any third party. Uninstalling the app removes this local data.

04Third parties

None. YourPottery does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and it does not make any network requests of its own.

05Device permissions

Hand tracking
com.oculus.permission.HAND_TRACKING

Shape and handle pottery with your hands. Processed on-device in real time; not recorded or transmitted.

Spatial anchors
com.oculus.permission.USE_ANCHOR_API

Place finished pieces in your room for the MR gallery. Stored locally only.

Vibration
android.permission.VIBRATE

Haptic feedback in the controllers.

Head tracking / Passthrough (system)

Standard VR/MR rendering. Passthrough imagery is handled by the Meta system layer, never accessed or stored by YourPottery.

YourPottery does not request microphone, camera imagery, location, contacts, or network permissions.

06Children's privacy

Because YourPottery collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no data from children. The app is intended for use on Meta Quest hardware in accordance with Meta's own age requirements.
